Start Recording
To start recording, press the center button once (single press).
The following occurs once a recording has started:
- The BWC will say, "recording."
- The recording status LED will begin to blink red.
- If enabled, any pre-recorded event will be added to the recording automatically.
- The LED light and audible cues will not function while the BWC is in Covert Mode. See the article here for more details.
- The BWC can be configured to beep at a specified interval while recording.
- If in low-power standby, pressing and holding the center button for approximately 2 seconds will wake up the BWC, say "Hello," "Recording," and begin recording.
Pre-record is not available if recording is started from Standby.
Mark
To mark the video, press the center button while recording. The following occurs once the mark button has been pressed:
- The BWC will say, "Mark."
- A bookmark will be placed on the video timeline for review.
- A snapshot will be taken at the time of button press.
The LED light and audible cues will not function while the BWC is in Covert Mode. See the article here for more details.
This process can be repeated as many times as needed for taking snapshots and/or bookmarking events.
Pictures taken will be grouped with and uploaded together with the recorded video asset as a child asset.
