Q: When I take the unit off the dock or AC Power the LCD instantly Dims. Adjusting brightness up or down doesn't help at all only while on battery only. Is there a way to correct this?

A: Please open both battery doors making sure there is no debris to prevent door from closing   then close them. If this doesn't correct the issue then it may need to go in for RMA.
