Troubleshooting

Cellular Option Missing

If the Cellular menu does not appear:

  • Verify the system includes a WWAN module
  • Confirm WWAN drivers are installed
  • Ensure the WWAN device is enabled in Device Manager
  • Verify WWAN is enabled in BIOS if applicable

Command Returns No Interfaces

If the command:

netsh mbn show interfaces

returns no interfaces:

Possible causes include:

  • No WWAN hardware installed
  • Missing cellular drivers
  • Disabled WWAN adapter
  • Unsupported modem

Additional Notes

  • IMEI numbers are typically 15 digits long.
  • Some systems with dual-SIM or multiple modems may display multiple IMEI numbers.
  • The IMEI is assigned to the modem hardware itself and does not change.
