Power On
To power on the BC-03, press and hold the power button for a few seconds until the BWC says, "hello".
The following occurs once the BWC is powered on:
- The Battery Status LED will turn on (Green or Red depending on percentage remaining).
- The camera will say, "hello."
- If enabled, Pre-record will begin automatically.
Note:
- The LED light and audible cues will not function while the BWC is in Covert Mode.
- Docked BWCs will automatically turn on once they have sufficient battery charge to do so.
Low-Power Standby
To place the BWC into low-power standby mode, press and hold the power button for approximately 10 seconds or until the camera says, "goodbye."
The following occurs once powered down:
- The Battery Status LED will turn off.
- The camera will say, "goodbye."
- Pre-record will be disabled.
Note:
If the camera is in standby, it can be woken up to begin recording by pressing and holding the record button for a few seconds. Pre-record will NOT be available in the recorded Asset.
Caution:
- Placing a BWC into standby disables the Pre-record function.
- BWCs that are in standby will continue to discharge the battery until depleted (approximately 24 hours).
