Telit T-Mobile Static APN No Service

If you're having issues getting Service after you have previsioned your SIM with T-Mobile for Static IP with the static APN here are steps you can follow:

 

Steps to Follow without AT Commands

 

  1. Click Windows Flag in the bottom left
  2. Open Settings
  3. Click Network
  4. Click Cellular
  5. Click Mobile Operations Settings
  6. Click Add APN
  7. Name it whatever you want
  8. Click in the APN box and put your APN Example: b2b.static
  9. Change IP Type from Default to IPv4
  10. Change APN Type from Internet to Internet & Attach
  11. Click Save
  12. Restart Computer
  13. Unit should now get service and be connected

 

Steps with AT Commands

  1. Click Windows Flag in the bottom left
  2. Open Settings
  3. Click Network
  4. Click Cellular
  5. Click Mobile Operations Settings
  6. Click Add APN
  7. Name it whatever you want
  8. Click in the APN box and put your APN Example: b2b.static
  9. Change IP Type from Default to IPv4
  10. Change APN Type from Internet to Internet & Attach
  11. Click Save
  12. Download GetacGPSCommand from https://gps.getac.com (First Download File)
  13. Unzip the file
  14. Click the path at the top and type cmd and enter to open command prompt in that directory
  15. Type G then tab to fill in GetacGPSCommand and a space then AT+CGDCONT? to show APNs
  16. It may show multiple APN lines with a position number 1, 2, 3 etc similar to below:
    +CGDCONT: 1,"IPV4V6","ims","0.0.0.0.0.0.0.0.0.0.0.0.0.0.0.0",0,0,0,0
    +CGDCONT: 2,"IPV4V6","vzwadmin","0.0.0.0.0.0.0.0.0.0.0.0.0.0.0.0",0,0,0,0
    +CGDCONT: 3,"IPV4V6","vzwinternet","0.0.0.0.0.0.0.0.0.0.0.0.0.0.0.0",0,0,0,0
  17. Press the up arrow to bring up the last command and delete the ? and put =1 instead so it would look like
    GetacGPSCommand.exe AT+CGDCONT=1
  18. Then press the up arrow again and change the 1 to a 2 and press enter
  19. Do this for each APN that you had show when the list had shown. This deletes all the APNs one by one
  20. Once you finished all then press the up arrow again and replace the command with the below command
    GetacGPSCommand.exe AT+CGDCONT=1,\"IP\",\"b2b.static\"
  21. Press enter and then put in the command
    GetacGPSCommand.exe AT+CFUN=1,1
  22. After pressing enter this will then do a reset of the LTE module so it will disappear and come back
  23. It should now connect to T-Mobile
