Once a case has been finalized, it can be closed to return Assets to their original retention period or expire immediately. To close a Case, select Close case from the Action menu to open the modal window.

Close Option | Required. Defaults to Close and Release Assets. Close options:
Note: Anyone can select Close and Expire Assets, but it is only enforced for users with the Close Case Approval application permission. |
Reason * | Required. Reason entries are customizable and can be edited or added in Setup > Tenant Settings > Asset & Case Settings. |
Request Expiration | Required. Defaults to Immediate. Request Expiration options:
