If your Laptop / Tablet outputs GPS sentences normally off the dock but as soon as you put the unit on the dock and GPS Sentences stop outputting completely, a reason could be your external antenna.

Try disconnecting your external antenna from the dock and see if GPS sentences start outputting again. If they do then you may have purchased an antenna that is not compatible such as Active instead of Passive antenna.

Please contact your reseller for the recommendation on which antenna to purchase.

If you purchased them from your reseller that sold you the Getac units please contact our support with the model of the antenna so we can look into it to see if there was an issue with the recommendation.

Note: If you remove your external antenna due to this issue you'll need to change G-Manager misc setting to use internal GPS while docked and go into BIOS of unit and click Advanced > Device Configuration > Docking USB > Change to 2.0 and exit and save changes. This BIOS setting change reduces the noise USB 3.0 creates that can interrupt GPS signal when no external antenna is connected.
