Q: How do I deploy through MDT/SCCM the custom button settings for G-Manager?

 

A: Please see below steps:

1. Put one of your units through the out of box experience
2. Open G-Manager
3. Click the Buttons Tab
4. Setup the buttons the way you want them to be
5. Click the Export Button as shown below

   

6. Save as ButtonConfiguration.xml
7. Copy off of unit and put on your imaging server
8. Create a Post Install Command line with the command and Start in location shown below:
   a. Command Line: ButtonManager.exe ButtonConfiguration.XML
   b. Start in: C:\Program Files (x86)\Getac\Getac Utility\

   

This will make it so that your button tab will have your custom configuration from the XML that was created before.
