Enable CSM Support - Laptop

Q: How do you turn on CSM Support? It currently is grayed out within BIOS and unchangeable.

 

A: Please follow the below steps:

  1. Turn unit on
  2. Press F2 at Getac Splash Screen
  3. Right Arrow to the Main Tab
  4. Make sure OS Select is set to Windows 10
  5. Right arrow until you’re at the security Tab of BIOS
  6. Set a Supervisor Password
  7. Now Secure Boot becomes available
  8. Press enter while selecting Secure Boot Configuration
  9. Press Enter on Secure boot and change to Disable
  10. Press Esc to go to the previous screen
  11. CSM should now be changeable, Turn it on.
  12. Press F10 to Exit and save changes

Now CSM is enabled so you can boot from Legacy Devices
