In-Car NF22 (Dual Lens) Firmware Update

As of 09/25/2023, the latest firmware version for the NF22 camera is 3.0.0.41.  Latest firmware software and firmware versions can be found here: https://help.getac.com/staff/kb/articles/37

To create a FOTA update package (Firmware update Over-The-Air update package), be sure to follow these instructions exactly. 

1. Navigate to Setup > Unit Update > Assets
2. Click the Page icon to open “Auto Update Asset – Upload” screen
   1. For “Unit Update File” click browse and upload “Getac_IP_Cam_NF22_FW_3.0.0.41.dll”
   2. Leave Resource File empty and click next.
   3. Leave description blank, scroll down and click save.
3. Navigate to Setup > Unit Update > Packages
4. Click the Page icon to open Auto Update Package
   1. For “Client Type” select “In Car”
   2. For “Asset” select “Getac_IP_Cam_NF22_FW_3.0.0.41.dll”
   3. For “Description”, enter “CA-NF22 FW”
   4. For “Version”, enter “3.0.0.41”
   5. Click Browse and upload FOTA_CA-NF22_FW_3.0.0.41.exe

To apply this update to cameras, navigate to the “Units” tab. 

1. Filter the “Type” column for “Car”. 
   1. Select one or more units.
      1. Use the Options Menu (cog wheel) and select “Assign Unit Update Package”. 
   2. Select the package called Getac_IP_Cam_NF22_FW_3.0.0.41.dll
   3. Select High for priority
   4. Leave execute in minutes set to 0.
   5. Leave comments blank.
   6. Click Save.
2. The unit will update when the system is idle.  Results of the update can be seen on each individual unit page on the “Update History” tab.
   1. For the Getac_IP_Cam.dll update, look for a log message that states:
      1. 1. oldFirmwareVersion:3.0.0.xx
         2. newFirmwareVersion:3.0.0.41
         3. upgradeStatus:Success

*Note: The NF22 firmware can be updated locally on individual units by simply running the FOTA_CA-NF22_FW_3.0.0.41.exe directly.
