Overview

Stations are used to organize Assets, Units, and Users however, they typically reflect real-world structure or chain of command.

For example, a large police department may have hundreds of patrol officers and vehicles treated as one Station on the backend. The same department may also choose to have separate stations for narcotics, homicide, and special investigations units. This functionality helps to segment assets and manage data sharing relationships.
