How to Reset a Password

Overview

Users can reset their password by using the Forgot Password link on the login page in Getac Enterprise.

Caution:
Users, whose account is managed by ADCANNOT use this process to regain access to Getac Enterprise. Contact an administrator for assistance. Getac video support CANNOT reset a AD synced Users.

Instructions

  1. Navigate to the login page of Getac Enterprise for your Agency.
    Note:
    The URL for logging in is unique to each Agency. This can be provided by an administrator, or contact [email protected] for assistance.

     

  2. Click on the Forgot Password option shown below.

  3. Provide your Username and Email address, then click on Submit.

  4. If security questions have been provided when the User account was created, an email will be sent with a link to enter the answers and reset the password.

    1. If not, an error message will display, directing the User to contact an administrator to reset the password.

      Note:
      The process to allow a User to set up their security questions is covered here.

       

  5.  Enter the answer to the Security Questions and click Submit to continue.

  6. Provide new password (in compliance with your Agency's password rules) and confirm, then click Change Password to finalize.

  7. You will see the following message. Click on Here to return to the login page to log in again.
