How to Configure a Wireless Microphone

Overview

This article covers the configuration of the Trinus wireless microphone for use with the MVS.

Configure Audio Settings

Perform the following steps to configure DVRs to use the wireless microphone:

  1. Log into Getac Enterprise.
  2. Access the Unit Configuration by one of the two methods:
    1. Via the Detailed Unit Page.
    2. Via the Unit Configuration Template Page.
  3. Access the Devices sub-page.
  4. By default, the Video tab will load.
  5. Click on the Audio tab to the right of the Video tab configured previously.
    Example:
    Ex. Audio Tab

     
  6. Click on the Add button
    Example:
    Ex. Add Button
  7. Give the new Audio device a name, e.g. Wireless.
    Example:
    Ex. Add Audio Device Name
     

     

  8. From the Device dropdown menu, select Microphone (Realtek High Definition Audio).
    Example:
    Ex. Select Audio Device
     

     

  9. Provide the following device values:
    1. Channel Number - 1.
    2. Volume - 75.
    3. Power Pin - 0.
    4. Index - Leave Blank.
      Example:
      Ex. Device Values
       

       

  10. Once finished, click on Save to finalize.
