Overview

Assets from non-Getac capture devices can be uploaded and stored securely in Getac Enterprise.

This simple process allows for the following benefits:

Audit Trail.
Playback of many video and audio files.
Review PDFs, and some image files.
Email sharing.
Adding to Cases.

Caution:

Videos that require a proprietary codec or player to be watched can be stored, but not reviewed within . It is recommended that the player be zipped together with the video file and uploaded together. To review, simply download a copy of the file using the Export process and unzip to review locally.

Supported File Formats

Note:

Most file formats supported by can be uploaded and stored securely in however, most cannot be opened or reviewed e.g. .csv, .xlsx, .doc, etc.

Video

The following video formats can be played back in Getac Enterprise without issue. Any videos using a different codec may be stored, but will need to be downloaded to review. If you require playback of a particular codec, send a feature request to [email protected].
