Categorizing Assets

Overview
Categorizing allows for better indexing of large amounts of Assets; making it faster and easier for a User to find and review them. While not required, it is highly recommended that Users utilize this feature to improve any analytics data in addition to faster search times.
Once a Category is applied, the following actions occur:
- A Retention period is applied to the Asset.
- An Upload Policy is applied to the Asset.
- If in use, a Custom Form will appear asking for additional Metadata.
- A pie graph will indicate which percentage of videos correspond to that category from the Dashboard.
Note:
Multiple Categories can be applied to a single Asset or Asset Group. Whichever has the higher Retention period will apply.
