Overview
The Asset Search page provides access to multiple methods of searching and filtering assets.

Advanced Search Tab
The Advanced Search tab allows you to combine one or more parameters from the Search tab to filter the Assets list more narrowly.

To perform an advanced search, follow these steps:
- If desired, choose a specific Date/Time Group.
- If desired, select an option from the Search Assets By picklist.
- Continue to add any desired parameters from the picklist by clicking the Add search criteria button.
- Username
- Unit ID
- Category
- Continue to add any desired parameters from the picklist by clicking the Add search criteria button.
- Click on the Search button or press Enter on the keyboard to finalize.
After searching and filtering, a table of all assets (within those parameters) will appear. After locating the desired assets, additional tools, such as sharing via email or building a case, become available to begin working with them.
If you cannot locate an asset upon searching, remember that permissions dictate access to what is viewable by each user. If you need assistance in modifying permissions, contact your internal administrator or support.
